Memorial Day weekend will be our two year anniversary to our engagement AND the day we closed on our house. Naturally, for the past two years we have been asked by every person we know at least once a month if we have started planning the wedding or set a date. The answer has always been no and no.
Exactly a week ago my mom discovered the most coveted wedding location in our town (which usually have a 2.5 year wait list for a date and it WAY over our budget) may have an opening 9/19/09 for half the price. IN FOUR MONTHS.
In tha past week I have picked out and purchased my wedding dress, asked my bridesmaids to be in my wedding, picked out thier gowns AND shoes (which are wicked cute!)- most of which are already on order and contacted every photographer in the area (all of the good ones are booked :< which sucks b/c that was one of the most important things to me….(anybody know someone amazing looking to build a portfolio and willing to travel to Saratoga Springs, NY?)
Anyway…I should hear back from the event coordinator today to confirm the date is ours………and then I am off
Planning a wedding in only 4 months after being engaged for 2 years….that is how we roll.
